Lorianne Lacerte, MPO – Owner of the clinic
Speech therapist
Member of the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec
Interested by neurology and having always wanted to work in an environment that allows her to help others, Lorianne begins her training at the Université de Montréal in psychology, with the goal of becoming a neuropsychologist. During this training, she finds herself particularly interested in child development, communication and all neurological aspects related to learning. This leads her to redirect her studies towards speech therapy. She thus begins a degree in speech therapy at the University of Montreal and pursues her studies with a professional master’s degree, which she completes in 2011.

Lorianne begins her private clinic practice as a student during her studies towards a master’s degree, and continues part-time in a private clinic after having graduated. Over the years, Lorianne helps a diverse clientele: preschool or school-aged children with language delays or disorders. Over the years, she becomes specialized with school-aged children, teenagers and adults with oral language disorders (dysphasia) and written language disorders (dyslexia-dysorthographia).

In addition to working in a private clinic, she works as a speech therapist in acute care for three years. In hospital settings, she does assessments and interventions with patients who have swallowing disorders (dysphagia), language disorders (aphasia) and speech disorders (dysarthria).
Anxious to perfect her skills and offer quality services, she follows various trainings and updates her knowledge by reading reference books and scientific articles. She regularly discusses with her colleagues to exchange intervention ideas and discover new evaluation tools.

Lorianne works closely with parents, as well as other school professionals (resource specialists, teachers…). She strongly believes that each child can learn and improve, no matter how severe his difficulties may be. Her goal is therefore to work with them and their community to develop personal strategies to make them successful.

Audrey Boissonneault, MOA
Speech therapist
Member of the Ordre des Orthophonistes et Audiologistes du Québec
Audrey always knew that she wanted to work with children, big or small. She therefore studied in speech-language pathology at the Université de Montréal, where she obtained her bachelor's degree followed by her master's degree in 2001.

With her many years of experience in school environments, she gives great importance to the collaboration of all those who form a child’s community. She also developed expertise with preschool and school-aged children with language disorders (speech delays), developmental language disorders (dysphasia/primary language disorder), developmental disorders of speech sounds (phonological disorder, verbal dyspraxia) as well as written language disorders (dyslexia/dysorthographia, learning disabilities in reading/writing). This speech therapist is known for her professionalism, her natural ability to vulgarise information, her calmness and her patience. She likes staying up-to-date in various areas of her field.

Her love for variety and novelty shows through her passion for travel, the range of sports she practices and the various challenges she takes up. However, she always takes the time to ensure the well-being of those around her.
In 2018, hoping to give quality support to children and their families, she begins a new adventure: speech therapy in private clinic settings. Having 3 children, she understands the reality of her clients and she strives to consider their needs through the advice she gives.

Chantal Lemire
Language stimulation agent
Having studied in visual arts and design, it’s Chantal’s desire to share her passion and ideas that leads her to animate art workshops for children of all ages, as well as for adults. A few years later, she opens her family daycare, where she devotes herself to making sure every child develops positively, and where she also receives ongoing training.

After more than 20 years in the early childhood environment, the desire to learn new skills and her interest in children’s language make her begin training to be specialized in that aspect of development. Since then, she has welcomed in her family daycare many children who need help on that level.

As a graduate in language development intervention strategies, she now wants to take on new challenges and focus more specifically on the development of children's language. Her experience, creativity and desire to learn are of great help to her in her work as a language stimulation agent.
